LC-MS/MS Analysis of PFAS in Bovine Serum for Clinical Research Using Microelution SPE
Date: 19 September 2024
Time: 10:00 - 11:00 (BST) | 11:00 - 12:00 (CEST)
Overview:
Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are exceptionally versatile chemicals and have seemingly endless applications that include more than 12,000 different compounds. Due to the persistent nature of these compounds, as well as their ability to be easily transported through the environment, there is a significant concern for the presence of PFAS in the human body. A LC-MS/MS method utilizing microelution SPE for sample cleanup, presented for analysis of seven PFAS, identified significant by National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine for clinical research and biomonitoring in public health labs.
