Shahana W. Huq is a Senior Application Scientist at Phenomenex Applications Laboratory, specializing in emerging technologies and solutions for Clinical Research and Sample Preparation since 2000. She holds an M.S. in Biochemistry from California State University, Los Angeles. Shahana’s work focuses on experimental design, analytical method development, optimization, and troubleshooting. She has extensive expertise in R&D product innovation, application development, and hands-on experience in sample preparation and LC-MS/MS techniques. Her drive and vision for advancing the clinical research field have led her to contribute to many scientific publications and coauthor a Phenomenex patent on sample preparation products (2006). Currently, Shahana collaborates closely with global clinical research customers, providing technical support, consultation services, and delivering onsite seminars and webinars to foster peer development and innovation.
