Tuesday, September 17, 2024
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM (PT)
Event Overview:
Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are exceptionally versatile chemicals and have seemingly endless applications that include more than 12,000 different compounds.  Due to the persistent nature of these compounds, as well as their ability to be easily transported through the environment, there is a significant concern for the presence of PFAS in the human body. A LC-MS/MS method utilizing microelution SPE for sample cleanup, presented for analysis of seven PFAS, identified significant by National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine for clinical research and biomonitoring in public health labs.
Who Should Attend:
  • Any scientists interested in LC-MS/MS and sample preparation or anyone curious about PFAS from biological samples
Key Learning Points:
  • Learn key steps to LC-MS/MS and sample preparation of biological samples
  • Understand potential Challenges when extracting PFAS from biological samples
  • Find advantages of using Micro elution SPE sorbent technology
