Micro-, Nano and 2D-LC Symposium
User meeting for miniaturized and multidimensional chromatography
29 September | 09:00 - 16:00 | Frankfurt, Germany
Phenomenex is excited to once again host the Micro/Nano and 2D-LC Symposium in Frankfurt, Germany.  Experts from industry and research institutes report on their current micro-, nano- and 2D-LC applications and provide useful practical tips for method development and optimization.

Column miniaturization reduces chromatographic dilution of analytes and improves ionization efficiency in ESI-MS detection. This combination makes micro- and nano-LC a highly interesting technology, e.g. in the world of "omics", where often only small amounts of sample are available. As a useful side effect, solvent consumption is reduced, which lowers costs and protects the environment. These advantages come into play in almost all application areas and industry branches.

Another challenge for analytical laboratories are extensive multi-screenings. These often involve hundreds of components in complex matrices, where all need to be detected and possibly also quantified. Many users are therefore considering whether two-dimensional separation techniques, in addition to using modern mass spectrometers, could also be helpful for better separating closely related compounds with similar chromatographic properties. With 2D-LC, the peak capacity of your chromatographic system and thus its separation efficiency can be significantly increased. Our specialists for multidimensional chromatography will explain how you can put this into practice.

Use the opportunity for technical discussions and to exchange experiences in these new and innovative fields of chromatography.
